PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Effective date:August 29, 2026
Yujing Xunqi is operated by individual developer Peng Le. The initial iOS release is local-first and has no website accounts or cloud archives.
This Policy explains actual information handling, purposes, permissions, transfers, retention, backup, deletion, and contact channels. It does not claim all technical risks are eliminated or certification under every law.
1. Scope and controller
This Policy applies to the Yujing Xunqi iOS App. The planned initial release covers available Apple storefronts except the 27 European Union storefronts; actual availability is shown on the App Store page.
When users choose Apple, WeChat, email, system sharing, or another service, that provider independently processes information under its rules.
2. Information processed on device
The App may process customer names, birth data, relationships, property details, floors, directions, measurements, floor plans, annotations, compass records, drafts, preferences, and local archives on device.
Users primarily enter, select, photograph, or measure this content. On-device processing does not mean the Developer can remotely view it.
3. Purposes and methods
Data restores drafts, performs on-device calculations, shows results, manages archives, creates prompts, and performs user-selected export, copy, or sharing. Core archives, birth data, floor plans, annotations, and measurements are not currently uploaded to Developer servers.
The App currently has no advertising, behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking SDK and does not profile archive content for ads.
4. More sensitive data
Birth details, minor data, precise household and property information, and identified floor plans or measurements may be sensitive. Enter them only when necessary and authorized, and do not add unrelated sensitive information.
5. Camera, images, and files
Camera permission is requested only after a user chooses to take a photo. iOS photo and file pickers provide only selected content. Denying camera access does not prevent other features.
Images and annotations are processed on device. Exported or shared copies are handled by the user's destination.
6. Direction and location permission
Compass following requests While Using location permission for system direction and compass capabilities. Direction data is used on device and not uploaded. Users can withdraw permission in iOS Settings and use available manual features.
7. Apple services and external contact
Apple handles Apple ID, transaction, region, price, tax, and subscription data for StoreKit purchase and restore. The App receives product presentation and verification results. A user-triggered version check sends bundle identifier and region to Apple's public service.
Opening the Apple Standard EULA, email, WeChat, or App Store enters an external service. The provider handles IP address, account data, and later actions.
8. Copying, sharing, and disclosure
The Developer does not sell core local archives or provide them to advertisers. Selected content leaves the App only when a user copies, exports, shares, emails, or opens a third-party service.
Copying writes to the general system pasteboard. Other apps may read it or Universal Clipboard may sync it. The current version does not set local-only or automatic expiration. Overwrite sensitive clipboard content after use.
External copies are not automatically deleted with an in-App archive.
9. Retention, backup, temporary copies, and deletion
Local data generally remains until deleted, App data is cleared, or the App is uninstalled. iOS backup, migration, and storage attributes may preserve or transfer data; the Developer cannot control those system copies for the user.
System backups, shared copies, and third-party content must be managed separately. Image or annotation updates and deletion may not complete expected recovery immediately after write failure or interruption.
PDF export uses a temporary directory. After abnormal termination, a temporary copy may remain until later App or system cleanup. Deletion is not immediate, irreversible erasure of every copy.
10. Security and system snapshots
The App uses the iOS sandbox and available file protection, but no method is perfectly secure. Protection also depends on device passcode, backups, shared Apple accounts, jailbreak status, and user disclosure.
iOS may create an App Switcher snapshot containing the visible page when the App enters background. Return to a page without customer data before switching away.
11. Choices and rights
Users can view, correct, or delete local archives and adjust camera or location permission. Because core data is not uploaded, operations usually must be performed on the device holding it.
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal, portability, complaint, and other mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded. Necessary identity or device-use verification may be requested.
12. Minors
The App is not primarily directed to minors. A guardian should operate it for minor data, or an authorized user must satisfy applicable guardian-consent and special-protection duties.
13. Regional and cross-border boundaries
The current version has no Developer-controlled cross-border upload of core archives. When users choose Apple, WeChat, email, sharing, or another overseas service, information may be handled under that service's locations and rules.
Mandatory privacy and consumer rules may vary. This is a global non-EU core notice and does not replace additional notice, consent, or remedy required for a specific region.
14. Updates and contact
This Policy and date are updated when features, data flows, or legal requirements change. Prominent notice or consent is provided where required.
Privacy questions, complaints, or rights requests may be sent to [email protected] or WeChat Yujingfengshui. No public phone number or mailing address is provided. Do not send complete sensitive files in an initial contact.
